Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and wife Liz make ANNOUNCEMENT after life DIDN’T GO TO PLAN

TV favourites Kelvin and Liz Fletcher shared an ‘exclusive announcement’ while beaming into morning television directly from their bustling farm. Already in the spotlight with their own series, the duo are set to open up their farm life even further, inviting the Lorraine show for a behind-the-scenes peek.

Joining host Lorraine Kelly on the show after tackling the hectic school run on Thursday morning (January 16), a candid Kelvin admitted: “I didn’t feel like I was living the dream this morning, when no one would do what they were told, that’s the children, not the animals, the animals are normally the best behaved really.”

Reflecting on Kelvin’s unexpected journey, Lorraine remarked: “It’s amazing how life turns out, there you are, all those years on Emmerdale and you were so brilliant on Strictly but you were going to go to Hollywood. You were going to go to Los Angeles, there were a lot of doors opening there, lots of auditions lined up and then of course, COVID hit. So you’ve gone from Hollywood to being a farmer, you couldn’t make it up could you? ”

In response, Kelvin shared: “Hollywood to Cheshire, I didn’t quite plan for that, it’s funny how things turn out and with our family now, it’s a life that we never envisaged but it’s a life we can’t imagine not being like that.”

Lorraine chimed in with: “And you’ve got a bit of an announcement for us which we are all very excited about…” To which Liz happily shared the news live on-air, confirming that: “Over the next few weeks and months we’re going to be sharing with you and the viewers a bit of an exclusive insight into our life on the farm. It’s going to be an exciting few months with you guys.”

Discussing their kids’ contributions to farm life, Liz remarked: “The kids are all at different ages so Marnie and Milo are definitely a help, the twins are an absolute liability.”, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Kelvin chipped in: “I think the best thing about having the kids for me is their understanding of the responsibility you have with a farm and the privilege it is. Understanding where our food comes from the hard work, the ups and downs.”
