While Brittany works out, her husband Patrick Mahomes is recovering from ACL surgery
The Kansas City Current co-owner, 30, posted a series of Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Dec. 24, with the couple’s two older children, daughter Sterling Skye, 4, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 3.
Brittany and the NFL star also share an 11-month-old daughter, Golden Raye.
In the adorable snaps, the two preschool-aged kids joined their mom in the gym for a “Christmas Eve workout.”
The first video showed Brittany, decked out in a bright red sports bra and leggings, walking on the Alpha treadmill. Meanwhile, the two kids opted for a different type of workout. Both are seen walking on the curved treadmills and then sliding down them.
Sterling and Bronze were sporting Christmas-themed pajamas, but their outfits didn’t stop them from getting a workout in.
In Brittany’s next two videos, she and the two kids are seen lying on a gym mat doing leg lifts and toe touches with each other.
The Instagram Stories were capped off with the two little ones using the SkiErg, a machine to replicate skiing. In the video, Sterling is seen passionately pulling the cable wires down, while Bronze has a bit more difficulty.
Brittany has shared a few snaps of the family of five celebrating the winter season in the past few weeks. In early December, Brittany published Instagram Stories of Sterling and Bronze enjoying the snow and attempting to make snow angels while in their winter gear.
Sterling smiled in the first photo her mom shared as she held her arms wide to make the figure. She wore a beige hat, a light pink puffer coat, dark pink pants with matching light pink gloves and boots.
Bronze was photographed in a dark puffer jacket with a hoodie on his head, light gray pants and black gloves and boots as he attempted to make a snow angel with his eyes closed.
Bronze and Sterling’s dad has also gotten into the holiday spirit by gifting lavish Christmas presents to the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive linemen.
The Chiefs quarterback, 30, gifted his linemen with a Hublot watch, a Full Swing KIT, Beats Studio Pro, a Rimowa aluminum suitcase, an Aventon e-bike, and Oakley Meta HSTN glasses, each with a customized case bearing their jersey number.
Patrick sustained two torn ligaments during the Chiefs’ loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Dec. 14. He tore his ACL and his LCL late in the game, and he was helped off the field. Patrick’s 2025 season is over, and the Chiefs missed the playoffs after making it in for 10 straight seasons.
The “ballpark” estimation for Patrick’s recovery window is roughly “nine months,” Chiefs’ vice president of sports medicine and performance, Rick Burkholder, told reporters. Mahomes is aiming to return for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season, which kicks off the week of Sept. 10, according to ESPN.
